What your child will learn

I can tell a simple story with a beginning, a middle and an end in the past tense.

About this course

Speaking for a minute or two is a big step. In this course Shayan, a 13-year-old with a clear British accent, shows you how to tell a story people want to hear, give a talk at school and persuade an audience, then talk about your own future.

Every short lesson teaches 8 useful words and phrases, shows them in model mini-dialogues and ends with a speaking task to record. The course is aligned to CEFR A2 and prepares for Cambridge A2 Flyers / A2 Key for Schools.

Good to know: Children should already know basic English (about CEFR A1) and ideally have finished the Explorer level. A device with a microphone helps for the speaking tasks.
